- This domain pertaining to
Louis de Beauvau in the XVth century,
first seneshal of King Rene, comprised
in 1453 a middle-class house.
- In the XVIth century, it
was the property of la Trémoïlle
family. The house was used as an hunting house;
- in the XVIIth, it belonged
to Samuel de Breil, earl of Bruslon
and state's adviser;
- Then at the end of XVIIth
and XVIIIth to Jacques Boullay du Martray,
King's adviser and mayor of Angers.
- In
1837, the domain is acquired from Mr. de Beauchamps
by Emmanuel Clémanceau de la Lande
living in Montjean and owner of lime kilns. It is thus Mr.
Clémanceau de la Lande, current owners' grandfather
who undertook to rise the Castle on the existing house. Moreover, he
built the dependences and drew the landscaped garden.
